42) Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo
Don't have too much to say, but was fun! Ending felt a little quick, but glad it didn't stick around for too long.

41) Cold Storage
A lot more fun than I expected with some disgust here and there.
Honestly quite surprised how good the characters were, with some actual depth & characterization. Also great chemistry especially between Naomi and Teacake. Loved the two.
Why not both!
40) Challengers
Between this and Queer, Guadagnino & Kuritzkes know how to make unorthodox & horny romance films, damn.
Visually stunning, top-tier acting, great chemistry between all mains, and what a banger soundtrack.
It really wasn't the kind of film I thought it was. It was so much better.
Peak comf
39) The Mandalorian S1
Pretty solid overall.
My biggest gripe is that Manda & Grogu don't make for super interesting characters so a lot of the show hinges on the side characters.
Final two episodes delivered well on that part though and Still excited to see more.
38) 28 Years Later
It's fun coming back to it after Bone Temple, noticing some details here and there.
Also best friend liked it, so only one more to show her now! :3
37) Uncharted
Fuck it, it's great fun!
Is it the best adaptation? Idk, haven't played an Uncharted game in over a decade, but it got good adventure vibes, fun action, decent chemistry and some great set pieces!
Also it made me wanna play the games again, so it did something right at least.
THE PUPPY!!!
36) Sometimes I Think About Dying
Real good :3
Between this and the 28 Years Later series, I really hope we get more of these kinds of zombie films. Not that I have much experience with the genre though
Started as an interesting zombie film but ended up being much more about regrets & mistakes wrapped in a zombie setting, and it kinda works! While I wished it would've taken 1-2 steps further with that idea (and maybe change the middle section a bit), it still grabs you well enough.
35) We Bury the Dead
I forgot how much I love Daisy Ridley.
More in QRT~
Ahh, maybe yeah, can see that. Gotta rewatch it at some point
Why is it getting slammed? I loved the anime ๐ญ
But I've done it plenty before, and I shall do it plenty again. One step at a time. :3
That being said, I also recognize I got pretty far. From having anxiety attacks before my first day at work, to actually being able to joke around with almost all of me coworkers :3 Among many other stuff, of course.
So much more to learn, much more space to take up, much more scary things to face.
I think to some degree I got my hands & feet out of that bubble, but it's mostly still there. So thaaaat is a journey to take. And many more scary things to face, yay!
But as much as I'd love to say I'd be good by now, I always knew it would be a long journey to get to an actual good place.
Habits that keep me "safe" and small so that I don't get noticed a lot, don't get too much attention. And it's kinda hard even recognizing these already before even talking about getting past them.
It's this anxiety bubble I've lived in for almost 30 years after all.
And I think part of really overcoming that is kinda just.. being more open, more vocal about being.. me? Idk. It might terribly backfire tbh.
But having lived with anxiety basically all my life and only really starting to work on it like 4-5 years ago, I think I got a lot of anxty habits to unlearn
But it's hard since I have a hard time I really have anything to offer for that space? I'm a rather quiet person, so I always think I'm not as fun/interesting to hangout with.
And that leads into thinking that they'd rather hang out with other people even if they might actually care a lot about me.
Weeeh. Little vent post.
My anxiety? Depression? Both?
been kinda bad this year so far, not gonna lie.
In particular, my whole self-value thing been quite bad, at least in a social context. I told myself I'd take up more space in friends life and such since I'm very good at making myself smol & tiny
34) Thor
Thor and Loki both turn into some of the biggest fan favorites in the MCU, but gosh, they were rough in their debut. It's probably among my least favorite MCU films, but decent enough as a popcorn flick, I guess.
33) Beast of War
Decent shork film! It's lacking in impact with most of its deaths, and isn't the most interesting story, but it at least feels like it has its own identity.
Also love the shark animatronic instead of exclusively using CGI!
Might just steal this idea with using this pic >:3
Omg I love this!!
32) 28 Weeks Later
It's a pretty uninspired sequel but it makes for a decent popcorn flick.
31) Friday the 13th - Part III
A day too late oop.
Enjoyed it more than Part II with its semi-"interesting" characters, but still not really good. At least he finally got that iconic look.
Part 4 in 1 month from now (maybe)
