Up and down like a yoyo, last year we went from boiling hot to freezing and back again with a side order of wet vs drought. I'm thinking we concentrate on what works and stock up on the elusive orange things when they're cheap!

I think a lot has been the soil and weather, we're in the UK and we've had particularly wet weather followed by incredibly hot followed by wet, garden doesn't know if it's coming or going! 🤣🤣

Canning some cheap carrots today for this winter, for some reason hubby and I always struggle with growing them, tried various methods and we only ever get 1 or 2 insipid specimens!
