Big thanks to PhD supervisors @ioliverasmenor.bsky.social @ymalhi.bsky.social @lemontree-uofr.bsky.social and all coauthors.
This was the first chapter of my PhD but we spent a long long time on reviewing and revising (which indeed greatly improved the quality). This is where we need nice supervisors and coauthors who keep encouraging me regardless of peer criticism and rejection! Also C.Bio. has very good author service!
Testing ecophysiological theory using tree traits along a vapour pressure deficit (VPD) gradient shows, as predicted, that photosynthetic capacity is higher at higher VPD sites. Contrary to the predictions, potential water conductivity tends to increase with higher VPD. doi.org/10.1038/s420...
After 8 years of continuous monitoring we have published the first results of our long term CerFogo experimental fire project as part of @navarrosales.bsky.social PhD thesis. Very happy to see this milestone accomplished!

This week @ymalhi.bsky.social and @h-zhang.bsky.social visited East China Normal University (ECNU) in Shanghai. Yadvinder gave a series of lectures and then he and Huanyuan were shown some of the ForestGEO sites in China

I was googling βlow carbon life styleβ. Guess what is the most effective individual action to reduce carbon foot print? Source: iopscience.iop.org/article/10.1...
Such anti-biology surprise.

What a pleasure to have this boss, not only supportive of academic publishing π, butβ¦ social app
This is my favourite chapter of PhD. It joins the photosynthesis traits dataset (Asat) with biometric GPP dataset using a photosynthesis model! Sorry this is my first post on Bluesky (just left X) and not sure how to write # and @. But the professor said: at least used the magic emoji π§ͺπ§ͺπ§ͺ
