When it comes to Rosie Alastor has two contradicting desires: to be a good son, or to be a person she hates. Being a good son means that he keeps Rosie, but also it means that there's a person who makes him "weak". Being hated means that he won't be weak, but he will lose Rosie

Alastor doesn't really express this with Rosie, cuz she treats him in a way that makes him feel pathetic, and it's not what he wants. But if Rosie gets, like, mad at him, like at someone who has done something truly awful, he would probably like it because it's the way he likes to be treated

I like masochistic Alastor hc actually. I think he feels pleasure from being hated by other people, and causing physical harm is one of the ways to show deep hatred

If we read pairings like that, then Voxval is het yaoi kinda, because despite them both being men, one of them, Valentino, is fine with letting Vox be the leading one in their relationships, and Vox's character depends a lot on his manhood and masculinity

The yaoi dynamic of the show is probably appleradio, because their relationships are based on fighting for the place of a father in Charlie's life, they kinda want to supress each other's masculinity

Chaggi is normal yuri because Vaggi's trauma with being dehumanized and reduced to a tool is feminine in a way that women are usually dehumanized in this way. And Charlie, despite taking on a more masculine role, wants to "save" everyone, which can be read as motherly

I noticed that for some reason I divide Vox into my interpretation and how other people see him. I do it with other characters too, but with Vox it's most noticeable I think
