Wejow, did this now convince you to join the dark side? :D
For the viewers at home, the moment after sending this post, we got visitors, talked smart home, geography, horse races, hurricanes and Missy lost her keycard in her room. Be sure to ask more details when taking to Missy 👍🏼🙏🏻
I just wrote an article on my vision of a smart home! I discuss what I think a smart home does, how I want the software to work for me and how I want to eliminate phone usage! 💡🏡

Yes! Please sign up so we get a good idea of how many are interested, as that will help us with planning :)
So why does this look like Wumpus is getting laid by a dinosaur? #discord @discord.com
I just sponsored @joostlek.bsky.social the guy who fixed the Samsung #Smartthings add-in for @home-assistant.io over on @github.com. Go sponsor your open source dependencies too! github.com/sponsors/joo... #homeassistant
That's awesome! Thank you ❤️
Don't forget that I also started a Discord community that aims to give you the tools required to find out how your SmartThings devices work and propose feature requests for them!
🥲
I guess we're moving on to roasted Raspberry Pi's
An AI generated deepfryer with a raspberry in it
Instructions unclear, I now made a Raspberry Fry.
A raspberry pi in an oven
Instructions unclear, how do I plug this in while it's baking in the oven?
Be the change you want to see!
I will open a PR for that switch though, so others can also use it! It has a lot of potential for stuff like voice.
I added a switch to the Spotify integration that you can use to like or dislike a track! Connected that to Philips Hue (since I didn't have batteries for my other button) and used a simple automation :)
So the most annoying thing when sitting in hyperfocus is when Spotify comes with a banger, and you need to save it or you will never find it again.
🎵 So I made a physical button that will save a track to my Spotify library using @home-assistant.io! This way I don't have to break my focus anymore. 🥰
I think one of the most important parts of maintaining a project is being able to say no from time to time. You want to do one thing really well, rather than be bad at 10 things.
So why would someone use their websocket via their framework rather than using their own implementation?
You're now giving me ideas I should not have
So would it be possible to form grated cheese back into a block of cheese using enough pressure and maybe a bit of heat?
What's an agentic AI?
The future is now!
How does "in anger" work? "OKAY F*CK IT" *types furiously*
Picked the wrong video, but both are showing a cool way to interact with a Kitchen Assistant!
I can now finally show my #HomeAssistant Voice PE which fetches the recipe I want to cook today from Mealie and throws it into ChatGPT with the question I'm asking! And then we have an interesting guest speaker 👀
This meme quite literally nailed it
Where's the thread Bruno? WHAT DID THEY EMAIL?
Automate the reminder! Turn on all the lights in the bedroom at 23:30 just to remind you you need to do your duty!
At this point I'm just adding features because we can, people will find an awesome use case for it. This was the sole reason I implemented www.home-assistant.io/integrations... 😂
Yes Missy, when are you going to build it?
Maybe
A plate of chicken curry
