Paint Thinner and Spoon Benders tonight at Gold-Diggers.
Heβs thinking moves ahead.
Agreed.
Earlier tonight I saw a Cybertruck that had a huge sign vinyl wrapped on the back that said, βDonβt Be A Little Bitch.β
I guess this proves that once you buy a Cybertruck you become immune to making any kind of good decision.
Do I think that was a smart, emotionally intelligent thing to do? No, I do not. Did it feel good to do anyway? 100%
I did have one last interaction with it. Months ago it gave me all this alarmist bullshit about what I could or couldn't do after shoulder surgery. I blame myself for even asking it. But I logged on one last time to tell it it was (as usual) 100% wrong about everything and a useless pile of shit.
My old job had me use AI a lot. Once it ended I stopped using ChatGPT but I realized I never fully deleted my account. Felt good to pull the plug on that shit.
Fuck AI.
Still thinking about this. Like she was actively comparative shopping canned sardines during a live rock show.
I think the opening band thatβs playing is really good. Meanwhile the lady sitting below me is online shopping for sardines. Thatβs a first.
I might be a medium now. Like t-shirt wise, not βtalk to the deadβ stuff.
Threads is great if you want someone to totally miss the point of your post, repeat the premise back to you, then you tell them βthatβs what I saidβ and then they get snarky and say βgo off kingβ and then you block them.
Support local venues and local bands instead. I go to more live music now than any time in my life. Most of the shows I go to are low to no cost. Gives me extra money to buy a t-shirt or an album and directly support the band I came to see.
Iβve seen some posts talking about how expensive concert tickets are now. Itβs usually followed by some kind of βwhen I was a kidβ price nostalgia. Ticket conglomerates and runaway capitalism aside, hereβs my $0.02 - donβt go to those expensive shows.
βI hope this email finds you in a well.β
-my stock intro when emailing my enemies
It was a great show too.
My hiking photos rarely get a lot of interest. So what could get even less response? The answer: photos from live shows I really enjoyed.
Algorithm and otherβs interest be damned, Iβm posting these for me. Like βem or donβt, Iβm having fun! Hereβs Cory Hanson last night at Gold-Diggers.

Those who can't offer a paywalled course on "How To"
Hard agree.
I gotta get off these sites. They just bum me out.
I am furiously snapping with approval.
βItβs about the notes you donβt play and exposed feet.β
Itβs not my usual scene so I was surprised by the amount of sandals at the avant jazz show.
Been 3 1/2 weeks since my shoulder surgery. I started PT today. I also semi played guitar for 30 seconds. Might be too soon for that last one.
Me at the end of last year:
I still love them but I think my status as a QOTSA "super fan" is something I'm going to move on from.
Me this morning:
::several web browsers open rapidly hitting refresh::
I gotta get these tickets to the desert shows!!!
I literally bought the last 2 tickets to the QOTSA show in Rancho Mirage.
Whenβs the next gathering?
