Specifically, we found that using a semi-supervised neural network, we explored images where the volunteers were confused about the class of atmospheric phenomenon. We could use the information learnt by the model to disentangle the features in the image and relate them with specific classes.

We have a new paper published today: doi.org/10.5334/cstp...

We tried to use a neural network classifier on the Jovian Vortex Hunter citizen science project to understand the diversity in volunteer responses for the same types of atmospheric features (like vortices or FFRs).

New paper alert!

Our paper from the Jovian Vortex Hunter citizen science project is out now on PSJ: iopscience.iop.org/article/10.3.... We had over 5000 Zooniverse volunteers comb through more than 60000 images from JunoCam to find around 8000 vortices between 2018-2021.

I'm all for security, but by the time I've logged into the VPN and then finished the 2FA to log in to my remote work server I've already forgotten what I logged in to do.

Just got around to watching The Creator last night and I simply can't get enough of the south/south-east Asian influence. Everything feels just like back home which is something that even south Asian movies are missing these days by shooting in exotic locations or using extravagantly designed sets.
