When I was training for Tucson I did a lot of hill runs, but still ended up with sore quads. I tried a solo marathon a few years ago at a very slow pace to see if I’d still get them - yep. If I were going to do another, I’d probably do a longer training program.

Read this all the way through. If we ever get through this and someone writes a book about it, one of the most interesting parts will be the neighborhood networks. Idk how exactly, but they function better than organizations that have had years to develop.
Maybe set up funds for people who can’t afford to get the ID they need to vote?
I write letters to potential voters, and there’s even a local group that does this. But is it enough? I’m not worried about U.S. middle-class Minnesotans, I’m worried about people in other states who already have to wait hours at the polls, and don’t have the resources to get the ID they need.
JFC what is going on here? We’ve got only two (2) Trauma 1 hospitals in this state (Regions being one) and one of them is at risk of foundering? These are simply not institutions that can be left to fail! FFS!
I didn’t know that about you. What an interesting read. I’m 5’3” and have dated men who were shorter. The only disadvantage I’ve thought much about is that it’s harder to reach things, but usually I go ahead and climb up.
