While waiting on some feedback from trusted friends, I'm going through the other scripts and wow, I let this one script get a lot more granular. I know it's because this was the first one I worked after I finished, like, the eighth draft of Age of Veracity. This'll be fun to rewrite.
Okay, finally got my first draft for the next Story Mode episode done. It got a little stuck for a bit there but I figured out what I wanted to do. That said, the episode is going to have a name change. I won't say what the new name is, but this is for what was originally called "The Clone Clause."
I find this interesting as the connection between the Hero of Time and the Hero of Twilight and my claim that they're NOT connected is, by far, the most common thing I've seen people argue against from Age of Veracity. Yet even the thing that's supposed to "confirm" it... doesn't.
So... something I said in my video was completely wrong, yet nobody is calling out. The thing in question: confirming that the Hero's Spirit is the Hero of Time. After looking in Hyrule Historia, I realized it does NOT confirm they're the same! It simply points out how people theorize they are.

So I’ve yet to play Age of Imprisonment (don’t own a Switch 2 due to finances), but hearing that the Mysterious Construct is connected to the Master Sword is… interesting to me. I can see that playing out in several different ways that all line up with the Age of Veracity video.
Seems like she wasn’t the only one.
I DO expect the video to be almost as long as AoV, since now I'll be able to read at a normal pace. If you want context on that, the AoV addendum was just over 5850 words and was 33 minutes long with extras. Compare this to AoV with its 45 minute watch time WITH extras. That's how fast I made it go.
Just for some some context, AoV had 10 versions made. v9 was 17 pages long and over 10k words (I can't give accurate v10 numbers because it's filled with direction notes now). The new episode script is currently going into its 7th page at just over 4k words. I don't expect to exceed 10 pages.
Story Mode episode 2 script is currently about 65% through its first draft. I expect to be able to finish it before the end of the weekend, then begin to fine-tune it for additional versions. Regardless, it won't take anywhere near as long as AoV took me to write.
Now that Age of Imprisonment is out and we can see the full roster... I'm honestly shocked that there's not a single name related to an OoT or MM side character. I mean, I can't be the only person who saw the purple haired Hylian as Kafei.

It really did. I've been amazed with the turn out. It's certainly driven a lot of discussion, and I'm hoping between a closing remark in the follow-up and the next episode, it'll be more easily recognized that it's a channel meant to create discussion.
So today's been interesting. I got the Age of Veracity follow-up all done, and I even have a new job that'll work nicely for continuing to make videos. Exciting times. :D
