BREAKING: Husband of East Kilbride MP Joani Reid has been arrested on suspicion of spying for China. In a statement, Ms Reid said: “I have never been to China. I have never spoken on China or China related matters in the Commons. I have never asked a question on China-related matters."

The Scottish Labour leader also stood by his own call for Starmer to resign as Prime Minister — despite the growing international crisis.
Speaking to journalists on Tuesday, Sarwar claimed Farage and Badenoch were attempting to “talk down Britain” during a period of international instability.
He said the Reform UK and Tory leaders were “unfit to be even in politics”
