Trump building a concentration camp for criminalized migrants on indigenous land in the middle of a key ecosystem that’s threatened by climate change & development tells you pretty much everything about the interconnected structures of oppression that drive his movement and our present system.

This was not always the case (see, the U.S. left throughout much of the 20th c.) and is pretty much a function of the collapse of the USSR, suppression of left post 60s/70s, neoliberal culture, the NPIC, rise of the web/social media, etc, that helped fed a strain of horizontalism & lack of organiz.
