New .hack announcement has made me decide to get into the series, starting with //Sign. Watching in Japanese but am annoyed at the lack of Japanese subtitles anywhere, they straight up don't exist. I'm now working out my Japanese listening muscles that have slightly atrophied with me mostly reading.

It's true! I was really impressed with how much they already had, though the surprising omission for me was the weapon triangle. Still adored going through it in my playthrough of all the games in order (currently stuck on my second attempt playing Geneology of the Holy War).
