Painted a whole bunch of new galaxy animals recently! Here's the first batch.

Here's what the first half of my event calendar for 2026 looks like! A few unconfirmed events and some possibility for change but I'm excited about how it's looking so far! I have plans for the second half as well but I will keep you updated.

This is so disappointing and depressing I don't even know what to say. I really looked up to the way he teaches art and colour theory and loved watching his plein air painting videos. This is like a wet painting rag thrown into my face

I think I would like to try to make a short original comic and also just make more original art in general. I also had an idea for a series of paintings that I want to do to raise awareness and funds for primeval forests because I'm not happy with how my country is treating them.

I'm slowly working on a little book that compiles all of my paintings from this series into one collection as well as process breakdowns and more.

And what a better cover for my book than the creators of the Pokémon universe, all in one!

POKEKAMI

A painting I made to celebrate 15 years of working in this style! I wanted to break away from the more scroll type paintings for a bit and experiment with something different.

In Finnish folklore wolf is mostly feared and loathed. It is a powerful and resperced beast loyal to its pack but also travels its own path. The wolf may give guidance to those who want to stay true to themselves despite what others think. It may also offer aid in choosing who to let in your pack.

The swan was one of the most sacred animals to ancient Finns. It was believed to be able to travel between the realms and carry messages over to the underworld - and return. The swan is also monogamous bird and it can be seen as a totem of loyalty and peace.

The snakes were seen as lowest of the low, creatures of the earth and the evil that was seeped into it. On the flipside they were also believed to be able to repel malice and possess healing capabilities. The snake symbolises primal strength and vitality.

Often seen as the messenger of evil and bringer of ill omens, the raven is closely associated with magic and the spirit realm. It can also act as a guide through various sorrows. The raven is a powerful bird with the capability to carry one's miseries and help find clarity amidst chaos.
