Another big update came out for Paradise Paws today! So here is some new concept art from me. Introducing the game's newest villain, Blair! The expression sheet was too much fun to make. Her in-game character animations came out so so so good.

New stupid scam alert. Scammers are now reaching out trying to get photos of your face to deep fake videos and con your friends and followers out of $$$ through counterfeit accounts. Fucking ridiculous.
Why do so many scammers do scams that target artists? WE DONT HAVE ANY MONEY.
Opinions seem pretty split down the middle, but I'm on the side of liking the new Gorillaz album quite a bit.
Zendaya is Meereed
really had to rush cus I'm at worrkkkk
The first drawing I'm sharing from my Movinkpad Pro 14 is a creepy aye-aye.
Now that it is Chinese New Year (happy Year of the Horse!), I can share this matriarchal NPC I designed for Paradise Paws' Lunar New Year event!
(and yes, I often max out my layers in procreate with my day job work files so.. Crossing fingers this could be a bit more practical for work - work!)
For now this seems like it will be a Clip Studio device, which never felt quite right for to use on my iPad for some reason? Here it feels just like doodling on paper. Perfect sensitivity, calibration and accuracy, somehow even more so than on my iPad.
I'm hoping for this? I need to try out the instant display mode more, because that's the only way I can use photoshop on this thing. There are some caveats to instant display right now. It's still in beta. You can't customize the pen buttons when using this mode. (I use my pen buttons a lot)
It should be good with bigger projects! I have yet to put it to the test. But I think the ram is 12 gb?
And yeah I know CSP has a cloud, but I work pretty exclusively out of Google drive for work, and have to use photoshop for work files, so it's just another step to add
Oh no. I picked up my apple pencil and drew in procreate and it felt like effort..
My main complaint so far is I don't have seamless app integration with Google drive or Dropbox, while using clip studio paint. I need to be able to move files between my PC and tablet pretty often.
Nah, you'd have to have a portable PC sitch!
Clip Studio does feel reeeallly nice on it though, just sayin
If you can get instant pen display to work with your PC, it can theoretically have Sai2 working on it!
ooooh okay. CSP feels pretty good on this thing.

and yes it is about cartoons and therapy.
Also I'm helping him with a visual novel, and I hope y'all will check it out when it's done.
I want to gush about Cartoon Therapy. I love it so much. Vince puts so much thought into the streams. Today's topic is defense mechanisms. Along with a dosage of "bombastic-ness" in his words www.twitch.tv/cartoontherapy
I hear you! I think the gestures in procreate are great.. CSP has some built in for tablet mode. I wonder if there are any third party apps that can let you customize gesture controls for other apps. I know it wouldn't be the same.
when people say "I don't want my ipad anymore" I need to see what they mean.
I'm gonna try out that movink pad pro 14 thing
I'm proud of you!
Neat how much you can see the engraved texture on this one.

Right now I kinda feel like I'm using Procreate on my Huion Kamvas Pro 19 and it's pretty neat.
You can't import PSDs, yet? (you can export though).
There is a symmetry/drawing assist tool. There's an autoshape drawing tool. There's .abr import (it's not perfect but it exists). Touch/pinch is very responsive. Gesture controls too.
so, a Procreate equivalent for Windows is out there, and it's called StylusX - it's $33, with a 7 day trial. It's pretty promising! I'm paying for the full version just because I want to see it updated. It has a long way to go.
