One thing that takes me out of movie or show is when characters use the word "powers" like they think they're in a superhero movie.
The Twitter I loved died long ago. What you're seeing is the marionette of a decaying corpse now overrun with its own gut bacteria, jerkily dancing as pieces slough off. It's revolting, but somehow hypnotic.
