It's out. For real this time, I swear

The Chunichi Dragons have signed RHP Yunior Marte
Marte, who was a mop-up man for the Phillies last season, was signed by the Mariners to a minor-league deal earlier this offseason.
The Dragons will be buying out that contract.
@yakyucosmo.bsky.social had it first
The Chunichi Dragons have signed RHP Nash Walters
While he's only pitched 1/3 of an inning at the MLB level... in 2022, Walters has the tools to succeed, he just needs to put it all together.Chunichi hopes they can do that.
He profiles as a reliever.
The Washington Nationals have signed Shinnosuke Ogasawara to a 2 year deal, with financials yet to be released.
Ogasawara gets his wish and gets off the Dragons.
The 27 year old hopes to bounce back after a mediocre season.
With the #BlueJays in the thick of the Roki Sasaki sweepstakes, @jneginshecter.bsky.social and I are joined by @gaijinbaseball.bsky.social on the Bird's Eye View Podcast to break down Toronto's chances, learn what makes Sasaki tick, how the other finalists stack up and much more:
The Orix Buffaloes have signed OF Edward Olivares
Olivares, who is coming off a down year with the Pirates, had two years of decent offense with the Royals, and has a career wRC+ of 93 in the majors.
The Buffaloes haven't had a plus season from a foreign bat since 2018.
The Saitama Seibu Lions have signed Tyler Nevin, son of former Angels manager Phil Nevin
The younger Nevin (28), has 12 homers and an 81 wRC+ at the MLB level, but had a 141 wRC+ in AAA last year.
I'm a day late, which is basically an eternity in the modern sports media landscape, but the Saitama Seibu Lions have signed RHP Trey Wingenter

Naver's Sang-il Jeon had it first

The Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters have re-signed Drew VerHagen to a 1 year, ยฅ350 million contract ($2.2 million USD)
This'll be VerHagen's 4th season with the Fighters
You almost never see starter-caliber players traded in NPB
Mimori is a solid middle infielder with a decent bat and blinding speed, Hamaguchi is a solid if yet unremarkable back of the rotation arm.
This is basically a blockbuster by Japanese standards.
A rarity of rarities for NPB:
A trade featuring recognizable players
The Yokohama BayStars have acquired middle infielder Masaki Mimori from the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks in exchange for LHP Haruhiro Hamaguchi
