It is a "Christian" war though. One brought by the warped Christian nationalist fundamentalists who believe they're starting the war described in Revelations to trigger the end of the world and the Rapture. Utter insanity.

It definitely is. I saw a picture of him and the guy on the right on Facebook the other day (not this pic). I was a big fan of Great Big Sea as well.

I'm very surprised that Fox News showed that quote unedited. I would've expected them to ignore it or talk around it.

Her head in a cellophane bag on the seafloor...

That's an example of the mentality of the people who are driving Trump's decisions. Not that his are any more reality-based, but good lord.

And you had both Amber Benson and Wil Wheaton narrate separate versions of Lock In and Head On. I found the shift in perspective simply from having a different narrator fascinating, and I enjoyed both versions.

Yay! I'm so thrilled that you'll be bringing back Reading Rainbow. I couldn't think of anyone more perfect to do it!

I'm actually very pleased it did not refer to Weird Al Yankovic.

Is this the same chalk "crime" where the handwriting curiously matched that of Miller's wife?

Those are all insane demands. I hope UCLA is rejecting them all.

It's a great bad movie, and I still quote the Samuel L. Jackson line, "assumptions makes an ass of you and mptions."

Trump is a coward, especially when it comes to firing people.

Just don't say that Blockbuster and Tower Records are cancelling their imminent expansion plans in California. I don't think I could take that sad news.

Good lord. Had to look up who that was and he's certain deserving of it. I knew he'd be a horrible person when the first sentence of his description in Wikipedia called him a "serial rapist," and the rest of it lived up to that.

Who gets upset about another business "stealing" a teenager working a part-time job at their business? What could a teenage girl be doing that's so important that you destroy a decade+ friendship over it?

Yeah, it's disgusting.

How is it possible that anything Brennan or Comey did is prosecutable after this many years, even if they did commit a crime (which they almost certainly didn't)? Isn't there a statute of limitations that was passed many years ago?

I like the idea of a multivial throwing hireling (in legendary at least), but I'm prepared to be disappointed. Still, level 8 is a decent spot for a permanent hireling in heroics, especially if it heals.

I'm tempted to put the answer to this on a separate page with an ungodly amount of cookies, but no, it most certainly does not.

The movie does a decent job of being the last in the series if they don't make more by bringing some closure to past threads, but it doesn't close off the possibility.

Did you write this? It's a work of art in response to the absurdity quoted at the beginning of this thread.

If he hasn't discovered The Wandering Inn yet, it's probably the longest ongoing web novel and it's wonderful. It'll keep him busy for a while, and the audiobook narrator for it is amazing, although it seems to have broken her after 700 hours.

Was the money spent on that legally appropriated?

The absolutely unnecessary expiration of that contract is what caused this problem, but it has officially been extended for another 11 months at the moment. This will likely lead to industry and others establishing an alternative approach that isn't dependent on the US government.

CWE is Common Weakness Enumeration. It's a more general categorization of vulnerabilities, and while it's useful, it's significantly less important than CVE.

MITRE is an organization that manages CVE, CWE, and a number of other cybersecurity initiatives funded by a contract with the US government.

16.04.2025 16:56 ๐Ÿ‘ 1 ๐Ÿ” 0 ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1 ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

there will be a gap in the defense against viruses, etc. until an alternative can be implemented. This is a huge simplification, but if CVEs stopped being centrally managed, it would be very bad for cybersecurity.
