Hello, everyone!
The "Under Contract" demo is now available on our Patreon!
We hope you enjoy this demo we've been working on. It's been a fun experience exploring something new while we work on RtF.
Speaking of, stay tuned for further updates on Remember the Flowers soon!
i just got finished fighting for a prior auth on generic vyvanse, took a while but sometimes the doctor side can help with it @w@ (it's miserable)
With regard to determining what is or isn't endorsement of irl criminal behavior, I say trust the artist until given reasonable context to believe otherwise. (And I ofc have no problems with wanting artists to add labels or content warnings to the problematic fiction they produce.)
and idk what Pro-fiction means. is this proship? i honestly haven't looked into fandom-y culture outside of furry all that much, but I'd imagine I support it solong as the intent is kink and not endorsement of actual irl behavior.
Race Play: a form of roleplay (or work of fiction) involving racial dynamics as a means of ceding or gaining sexual control within the context of BDSM/kink.
Race: a socially constructed term generally used to categorize humans based on their physical traits. Importantly, it's not an objective biological fact, but a socially subjective label. We're going past semantics and getting into ontology here though, which is better for DMs if you're interested.
The point of me saying "it's complicated" wasn't to cop out of an explanation, it was to answer your question: "Like what's the actual logic for that which you can describe" and the logic is that there is no knowable logic due to the currently-subjective nature of human psychology.
The logic behind a kink isn't ever obvious. It's not something we can objectively determine due to how complicated human psychology is. There's plenty of ways and many different reasons people can become sexually fixated on this or that paraphilia or fetish.
You're making a lot of assumptions about their intent here, but I can't imagine any reason they could have for deleting your comment that would imply they are somehow morally evil.
Unless somehow their intent was like, "i want to influence people to commit sex crimes by deleting this comment."
I don't think it's evil to get off to terrible fiction. Anecdotally I've seen more minorities into raceplay than I've seen otherwise. I myself am born from an illegal hispanic immigrant, and I can see the appeal in wanting to see a fictional character ceed sexual control that way.
My logic is that intuition alone cannot be used to judge kink art. I'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt to artists drawing kink shit, because kinks shouldn't be used to ascribe moral intent.
Trauma and guilt are commonly turned into sexual fantasies as a means of catharsis.
Trying to gotcha me with something made with malice, intentionally drawn by an artist who makes in clear that they want to influence negative behaviors irl, is willfully ignoring my entire argument. Critique whoever you want, but trying to callout post any kink on its own merits is lame AF.
I'm not sure why you're assuming I didn't mean what I said? Raceplay is a common kink and I have no problems defending it. Similar to that, I've seen plenty of LGBT with kinks around political play or gaybashing. Sexual catharsis through art should not ascribe moral intent.
artists deleting their posts to avoid threats and harassment says nothing about their intent past the kink itself.
a post by @boneyhag on kink media and censorship.
You can't disregard intent while blaming artists for the actions of an abuser.
When you say kink art influences people to commit irl sexual crimes, you're supporting an argument that shifts the blame away from criminals and towards kink artists, the vast majority of which are not sexual criminals.
As for joining the military, intent matters. The CoD franchise has specifically gone out of its way to help facilitate military recruitment. To say that problematic fetish artists are doing the same, that kink material turns normal people into abusers, is to disregard artistic intent and free will.
Scientific research shows no direct, causal link between playing violent video games and committing real-world, violent, or criminal acts.

Trying to categorize which fiction you're allowed to draw kink of is endlessly subjective and ultimately pointless. The justification always ends up being: "regardless of intent, fictional depictions normalize irl actions," which is a terrible thing to believe imo.
Intent matters in fiction. Drawing a problematic fetish for the sake of getting off is different than drawing positive depictions of slavery with the intent of convincing other people that slavery is permissible.
