I will reaffirm my hatred for the suburb of Markham (it’s not a real city) and this race will probably look good on TV but be misery for those of us wasting money on attending it. At least I get to spend 4 hours commuting to it.

The weekend of the Markham Indy I will by driving from 5 hours north of the city (coming from a camping trip) to an Alexisonfire concert across the road from the old track on the Saturday. Then taking three trains from the old track to the new track on Sunday for the race…

Let me get this straight. TSN will show all the on board cameras, and live timing/scoring as well as the pit lane cam, but they won’t show any actual F1 broadcast for practice?

I forgot they made it into an English version called Catch That Kid.

There’s a movie (I think it’s from somewhere in Europe?) about a kid who’s a professional go-kart racer but her father becomes ill and she uses her skills as a go-kart race to rob a bank. But I can’t remember what it’s called. I saw it at the kids version of TIFF (sprockets?) when I was young.

I would like to meet him one day. He had a bit of a rift with some people I know but would still love to have a beer with him one day.
