Yesterday, someone told me that I looked like Karl Marx.
I took it as a compliment.
Then, today when I went in to work. A colleague told me that I look like Winnie the Pooh.

I spent a wonderful afternoon with Chris Holtmeier in his West Omaha photography 📸 studio. This was one of the most fun photo shoots I’ve sat for, I learned a lot about his process, he gave great direction, and had amazing stories about his life in photography.

We started off having coffee ☕️ with my folks, then spent the day at the Joslyn Art Museum to check out the Dripping Earth: Cannupa Hanska Luger exhibition, have lunch, and run into so many of our friends! Then we ended the day getting spoiled at The Boiler Room Restaurant downtown.
We weren’t able to celebrate 🎉 the Lady 👑 Jerde’s birthday 🎂 this week due to responsibilities and commitments, so we set aside yesterday to make it right.
A great morning talking about our senses over our lifetime, alone time vs. time in the community, and the benefits of making new friends over the course of lifetime. Along with whats going on in our studios.
Thank you for making time for me Bob. It’s an honor to call you my friend.

I painted in the snow this afternoon. Either the paint will freeze and crack, or will wash out in a way I couldn’t make on my own, or both.
Much of my abstract painting process is an attempt to make structure collaborate with chance. A snow ⛄️ day seemed like the perfect 🤩 opportunity.
