I have no idea why, but I don't think I was at this show. Which is insane to me.
On the bright side, I've never felt more qualified than literally every single member of an administration and whatnot.
Surprised it didn't just disassemble itself right there. I keep expecting one to spontaneously do that and then take itself to its cousin, a dumpster.
I've already made major reductions in Amazon spending, but can do better and we already don't do much shopping at big box stores. I think reducing transaction fees is a good thing so I'll focus on that too.
I will also use today as the starting point to build new habits in the way we spend. More cash instead of cards. (I hate carrying cash so this will be hard for me in a way).
Today's the "economic blackout" but that doesn't mean you can't spend some money. Just, do it at your local small businesses and do it with cash only! Fuck the banks. Fuck Amazon. Fuck Walmart. Fuck Target. Fuck Applebee's or whatever other dumb restaurant chains are around you.
