Project Esther accuses “America’s Jewish community” of “complacency.” “There are multiple Jewish nonprofits that are dedicated to fighting antisemitism, and yet here we are today,” said Ms. Cohanim, the task force’s sole Jewish co-chair. Not everyone who Heritage hoped would join the cause felt comfortable doing so, including prominent Jewish and Christian Zionist organizations that members at the foundation assumed would be allies. Three people from such groups told The Times they did not want to associate with the plan because they found its failure to consider right-wing acts of antisemitism too partisan.
An appropriate way to understand Project Esther, and Trump's "anti-semitism" purge, is that it is predominantly driven by right-wing Christian nationalists attacking institutions they dislike, even if it also includes attacking Jewish students and groups.

I suspect a key reason that Musk’s money couldn’t buy a Wisconsin Supreme Court seat is that everyone saw the would-be purchaser in the open. This is not the case for dark money disinformation campaigns. A lesson: we need to shine more light on campaign cash infiltration.

The lawsuit was filed on behalf of farmers and nonprofit organizations who were awarded USDA grants through the IRA. This is yet another step towards justice for communities USDA savaged for decades (see Pigford).

DOE holds most of student loans. What happens once DOE ceases to exist? Those loans do produce revenue, as they are being paid back—what balance sheets would repayments accrue to.
Cautious dems said DOE could not cancel loans—Trump cancelling lots via EO.
