Today at the Philosophy Cafe we asked the question ‘can you own an idea?’ This is a question that has relevance in so many areas of life.. and hinges on how you come to ‘own’ something.. whether you can ‘own’ something not tangible..and what rights that brings you.. What do you think? #EduSkyAu

I’d be very interested in some recommendations for the curious and beginner house music listener.. I have so far enjoyed Joey Negro, Frankie Knuckles and Louie Vega.. I’ve been a long term fan of St Germain and Massive Attack- but didn’t realise these were classified as House..!

This summer I challenged myself to be curious.. in so doing I unexpectedly discovered a penchant for House music..! It made me wonder why I hadn’t discovered it sooner! Where has it been all my life?? #EduSkyAu Where will your curiosity take you..??

It was with great sadness and a sense of pride that I stepped down from my role as Chair of Association for Philosophy in Schools after 4 years of service. Time to pass the baton on to the next exciting generation of enabling thinking in students and teachers.. #P4C

In short- We need to teach students how to think .. no better motivator. And what better way to do that than teach Philosophical thinking..

Agreed- philosophy for children or P4C or philosophy in schools would be awesome..
