Will this be in your store, Matt? Just might make that my first purchase!

I interviewed Docter in person when he was making the rounds with the original Inside Out. He seemed like a good egg and was one of Pixarβs best directors. So this tone deaf rationale is extremely disappointing.
He worked slow and steady, which meant he had a remarkably consistent output. Many people say Green Card is his one stumble, but even that is solidly entertaining if not remarkable. Retirement is well earned, but man I miss his singular voice.
Saw The Truman Show at a theater last night. Man, that holds up. Arguably the Network of its day.
Until I saw the Alt Text, I thought that was The Living Daylights. Though I guess that could fit too.
Eric Robinette with Len Garrry
Len Garry of the Quarrymen, the team chest basis for the band that became the Beatles, has passed away. I was very lucky to meet him when I went to the UK. Iβll always remember him singing along with Beatles songs in Liverpool, enjoying his place in history. Farewell, Len. Nothing to get hung about.
Everything sucks.
The closing in particular is brilliant.
Don't really disagree with you on Mariah Carey, especially because I'm well and truly burnt out on that damnable Christmas song. However, it's worth pointing out Brenda Lee IS in the Hall.
Sheez. Usually this nonsense comes from people who make popcorn junk. You'd think Robbie would know better.
World War I flying aces are immune.
Iβve seen speculation that this set is relatively lean because the last set, centering on the Carl and the Passions/Holland era, did not sell well. Moreβs the pity.
My favorite take on that was a Mad Magazine spoof where one of the cassettes was:
Chicago 17
Phillies 0
Caballeros is wonderfully inventive and trippy. I wish it were better known. But cβmon - BatB is one of their crown jewels. Come ON. Donβt let the lame live action version taint this vote.

Seen elsewhere: The wrong cast member of Home Alone 2 died today.
Iβm pretty sure I saw that before I saw HOME ALONE. Never not brilliant. I bet Marty pens a nice tribute.
Maybe for about three minutes, during βTalk to the Animals.β Itβs a SLOG.
Doctor Dolittle would like a word.
Ethan Hawke totally crushes BLUE MOON. People thinking this is a legacy nomination better step back. It's an all-timer performance.
quick someone award Jeffrey Epstein a Greatest Pedophile Ever medal and Trump will get so jealous he'll release the Epstein Files just to prove he deserves it more
I will not be participating in the 2016 trend. That was immediately after I lost a job I held for nearly 20 years, then moved to a job I ended up hating and lost three years later. Not to mention it was the rise of THAT MAN on the national political scene. Forgive me if I donβt wax nostalgic.
Good choice! Underrated gem!
My problem is I live in a city dominated by Cinemark, which doesnβt have a plan like AMCβs. So I use MoviePass to cover the gap. Will NOT be indulging in betting.
Vance on X: "Every congressional democrat and every democrat who's running for president should be asked a simple question: Do you think this officer was wrong in defending his life against a deranged leftist who tried to run him over?"
Defaming a murdered woman and shrugging off her death with a lie is about as evil as it gets and no journalist who gets within shouting distance of this vicious troll should let him have a moment's peace about it.
He's not wrong.
Flipped is an underrated gem. Itβs on Kanopy.
This is a much needed tonic after days of unrelentingly grim news.
But folks, you simply cannot make that much timeless work without being the primary reason all that work is timeless. You cannot make six all-time classics in eight years without being truly great, regardless of whether you mark your trail with an inimitable style.
Directors that donβt have an obvious style tend to get the short straw in historical appreciations of the great filmmakers. If we donβt clearly see *them* in the finished film, we think they must not be the primary driver of the filmβs quality.
This hurt Sidney Lumet, and it hurt Rob Reiner.
