Got sick of the terrible documentation on Steam and wrote my own on how to upload stuff.

With the Building components asset library almost in blender, (Chimneys, deposits, pipes, ...) I star to model some proper shapes for the buildings, and adding such assets on them. These are a few first attempts
#indiedev #blender #videogame #citybuilder
Added a little bit of noise to the building texture
#indiedev #Blender #shaders #videogame #citybuilder
A little bit more of props made today for the asset library ^.^
Once the library is finished, I'll move into modelling the actual buildings
Also thanks to @emaudio.bsky.social , @tapir2342.bsky.social & @jackiecodes.bsky.social You guys are awesome!

I never understood how it works u.u
Still not convinced, but added some awnings :)

Working on steampunk(ish) building elements;
Chimneys, pipes, water deposits ...
My idea is to have like 5 different elements of each category to bring some variation yet keeping some consistency, when modelling the actual buildings.

Buildings and vegetation spawn system works again after adding topography to the game :) (Had to fix some issues related to the the height)
#unrealengine #citybuilder #videogame #indiedev
Needs some tweaking, but in a similar way used to Blend the buildings/excavations with the topography, I can "stamp" now detailed geometries/landforms to the landscape. As an example this earth cracks "breaking" the hill ^.^

Hope I'm not too late for #PitchYaGame!
Heres the latest teaser for my upcoming RTS / Exploration style game with Fleet Building / Large scale battles & RTS invasions!

Building & structures now adapt to the terrain shape/slope \o/
WIP - Visualization of the sun radiation levels & topography
WIP - Visualization of the "water table", a key information to survive in a desert world
There is hope - Fight against the desertification will be one of the long term challenges the player will face in this city builder game
Organic growth of desert cities

The "nested patios" system is working \o/
The player can now design spaces underground, protected from the scorching sun #citybuilder #unrealengine
Hey guys new video today! Trying something new. I go in depth about merging sandbox and story rich games together, and my experience so far in developing my game, hope you enjoy!

You can wishlist it on Steam! store.steampowered.com/app/3313230/...
I like 1, but I'm keeping doing 2 >.<
Can't think of a better team!
Needs some tweaking but the shader that deforms rectangles into arcs is working! \o/
Made a shader to Bend rectilinear segments/meshes into arcs. So I can Instance the same mesh and reuse it to generate the curves of street/roads or even entire buildings with a single mesh
The maths/logic for the shader are in the video, in case anyone is interested :)
