When economists say the president can't really do much to change prices, what they mean is he can't do much to *lower* prices.
Seems less than ideal.
1/ I've watched administrations handle various wars and military operations, and I can say without question I've never seen an administration show such casual disregard for the danger U.S. troops are facing or the death of U.S. troops. All things Trump are disturbing, but this particularly so.
Trump eased sanctions on Russian oil the same day we learned Russia is helping Iran target American ships and military solutions. What could possibly go wrong? Trumpski shows his true colors yet again.
We can throw another $500,000,000,000 at the Pentagon this year and spend $1,000,000,000/day on a wholly useless war, but we can't afford to hire doctors and nurses to take care of our veterans? The United States is such an irresponsible, messed up country right now.
