The Windows Archive will be going on hiatus starting today. All 3 of the machines I use to screencap old windows software are in disrepair, and unfortunately my money needs to be spent elsewhere for now. I'll try my best to make sure everything is back up and running by March!

Akmail 2.0b for Windows 95 and NT was released in 1996. Its documentation describes its three-window view as "intelligent," perhaps because that was not a set standard at the time. It really shows how much we take modern user-friendly UIs for granted.
