RetroAchievements Mastery #149 - Mega Man's Soccer

A game that I really didn't like when I first started playing. The raw gameplay lacks much depth, but after getting new team members and learning where to score the big points from, the game play smoothed out and was mastered without much trouble.

This is Cheatman of Mega Man CX. His ability is cheating.

He has several moves that can defeat you in a single hit, or moves which ignore your iframes. He regens over time and can swap life bars if you're in the lead.

A fun fight that can be learned with enough practice and is satisfying to beat.

After 14 1/2 hours, we've mastered Mega Man: The Power Battle, and Mega Man: The Power Fighters for RetroAchievements.

These are arcade games where you just have boss fights against Wily and various Robot Masters.

Mastery #146 - Mega Man CX (NES, Hack).

A Mega Man hack I'm pretty fond of. I really appreciate the story and setting it has, and getting one over on Cheat Man feels great.

The difficulty is high. Cheat Man alone makes it hard to recommend, but the story is worth it. Give it a try.

Mastery #145 is Mega Man X: Command Mission (GC)

A game that many joining the stream wasn't aware existed. The collection grind took a bit of time, but the achievements are straightforward. I have a good time with it overall. Thanks for putting up with the fast forwarding during the grind today.

The first game of Mega Man History Month has been mastered for RetroAchievements! Mega Man: The Wily Wars (GEN) was quite the set. After all, it is made of the first three NES Mega Man titles plus a unique game called "The Wily Tower".
