Super happy to have this new tool in hand to read subs & client work. I 💙 kindle on my phone but with calls, emails & socials it’s become too distracting! So thankful to my sweet artistic daughter for caring & crafting an aesthetic case for me that fits me perfectly & sets the tone. Gonna go read!

It's remarkable to think a woman I knew was such an influential figure in publishing. To think, if you're a female editor or agent today, women like Karen came before us and made a way. She was a powerhouse, quintessentially New York in her directness, but had the biggest heart.

Sad to share but blessed to celebrate the remarkable life of our founder, Karen Solem, who passed this Sunday. She helped build the romance genre to powerhouse status, publishing Nora Roberts first 100 books, & was also a trailblazer who paved the way for women in publishing.

I particularly love the darkly delicious nested narratives in @lorasenf.bsky.social’s The Losting Fountain. But out of those, Noemi’s haunts me. I love it but it haunts me. But bad things happen when one world bleeds into another.
