Anti nuke Ayatollah?
Anti nuke Ayatollah?
The first job postings for the Williamsport, Md. ICE detention warehouse appeared online.
The βhumanitarian responseβ firm behind them has never held a federal contract.
The DOJ released evidence, which the FBI deemed credible, that the President of the United States sexually and physically assaulted a 13 year old girl AND she was afraid to talk about it because Trump would kill herβand itβs somehow not the biggest scandal in American history?
2/ I suppose it's almost funny that my first response to his comment was to yell FUCK.
Because... well, duh. Only certain people would have been cleared to look at such documents.
Holy hell.
I commented to a friend that I still didn't get why the the same FBI guys who are our Iran counter intel were working the Mar a Lago case.
And he's like "well there's a good reason but you won't like it..."
And D'OH. Because that's the sort of documents that might have been in the bathroom.

Probably a good time for Democrats to point out Trump has never once pumped his own gas in his whole life. He has almost no idea how much gas costs or how it impacts normal people's budgets.
hooboy
so that was a US bomb and looking like aI targeting off old intel (the school had been military use in the past, and part of the base that it is now 100 yards outside)
And i'm pretty sure we've known that for days.
Part of Trumpβs mass appeal (and of why heβs so dangerous) is that he really seems to share Joe Barstoolβs worldview that there are no complex problems: Everything has a simple brute solution, which previous leaders were somehow too stupid or weak to deploy.
Whose lapel is this?
This is why I wish every one of these folks would pick up Sen. Paul Wellstoneβs βConscience of a Liberal.β He talks about making that transition. Learning that there are different skills necessary.
They dropped a blind guy off on the side of the road without telling his family, and he ended up dead.
The Border Patrol agents should be charged with manslaughter.

His son lives in Rockville, MD.
This one hits hard.
I noticed this one and then was looking for the beginning.
thinking about how Savannah Guthrie had to cancel her trip to work the Olympics because of her momβs kidnapping but the guy who heads up the investigative body handling the case was posting pictures of himself in the US hockey locker room today lol
Current plans seems to be to open up the boundary Waters to mining by some big Chilean company. You know ruin the outdoor and nature stuff and all the small businesses around it in favor of throwing money at a big one.
There's still time to make a fuss.
Yeah exactly, which is why I don't usually mention.
On some level I kind of figure given just how much a ridiculous amount of money bezos has there are going to be circumstances where it's justifiable to deal with them. Protest supplies on an AIEE short timeline is a past example.
Putting here to get back to later, now that I have finally gotten a phone working reasonably well again. The teaser text is simply boggling me.
Somewhat related, at this moment there is a meeting in Anacostia about the planned [frozen] expansion.
i've decided not to listen to the audio of a teacher reporting a kindergartender because frankly I don't want to become the person that that event would turn me into. but one thing I hope we are collectively coming to grips with is what it meant that we have lived among such people this whole time
I believe in giving credit where itβs due. Hang the entire Gorsuch concurrence in the Louvre.
Master class in telling your colleagues theyβve lost their fucking minds.
So I understand Blue sky even less than I understand a bunch of other places. On discord, for example, if I block someone I can't see them but they can see me. On twitter, if someone blocks me I can see them just not interact with them. What happens if I block someone on blue sky?
Yeah I wish I had better news about GoodRx and it's certainly helpful to the consumer just the downstream effect of putting even more independent pharmacies out of business is less good :-/
For what THAT'S worth, Amazon also has cheap generics.
oof. yeah. In retrospect I made a costly mistake on which plan I chose, but DC's managed to keep their plans eyepopping but still lower than a lot of the country.
I haven't tried the card but I've used the online a couple times.
:pops in to mention CostPlusDrugs.com which is on line, but also has Team Cuban Card that works in a whole lot of brick and mortar pharmacies (not CVS) - a lot of the time pharmacies can lose money on GoodRX coupons, but Team Cuban pays them fairly to fill the discounted drugs.
They also have the Team Cuban Card which works with a whole lot of brick and mortar pharmacies and is FAR better for the independent pharmacies than is GoodRX.
It's $12 to the pharmacy instead of I think $6 online, but no shipping fee, and the ability to interact in person as well as support.

(It depends on how the negotiation is done, but pharmacies can lose money on GoodRX. What's usually making money off of everyone (including to some extent the manufacturers) is the Pharmacy Benefit Manager. Elon blocked better regulation on that.
I suppose I'm unsurprised.
Hey everyone, there's a company that keeps a fixed markup on their mostly generics and is both on line and in a bunch of brick and mortar pharmacies: CostPlusDrugs.com, who do not buy advertising.
(Brick and Mortar is the Team Cuban Card, on which pharmacies don't lose $)
