From what I've been hearing, it seems that Charlie Kirk was a man with no hatred in his heart for anyone, ever, and never did or said anything wrong in his life!
Rest in peace trans rights activist Charlie Kirk!

That poor trans girl is a hero.
This is like stuff from a Greek tragedy.
A martyr for speech, used as a symbol against speech.
An act of hate against hate.
The man who murders for love.
The trans lover who brings him to justice.
And transphobia in the name of justice.

Like the job market often feels like if you fuck up, you're done and I think a lot more people would move forward with their careers if we gave them more of a chance to educate themselves more as an adult.
I think we need to rethink the way we handle education as ending when you graduate and start creating community job-training spaces for adults to learn skills and move forward with their career regardless of their background. Employers could also seek employees in these locations

Holy shit its literally the 1930s
And because people aren't actually *taking part* in these movements, it encourages a very lay and casual relationship with them.
And now, all movements are decentralized now, and that makes them uniquely susceptible to mutation. Both from context-blindness but also from the movements' opponents deliberately mutating it in a destructive way. And I think we're seeing a lot of results of that right now.
I think a lot of American social ills can be attributed to the internet isolating people out of civil society.
Used to be the case that if you wanted to push for something important with other people, you'd create or join an organization for it. Now you just tweet about it.
