I have a very vague recollection of plans for both universities to share a gym back when the STU gym was built, and it fell through. Sharing is not easy! When my kids didn’t have phones but had a lot of freedom of movement, i made them memorize our numbers in case they got in trouble and needed to borrow a stranger’s phone to call us. My oldest has a phone now, but still needs to know our numbers in case he’s out without his phone and needs us.

Always the bus route. Our street used to be on the bus route. The neighborhood petitioned to have the bus route moved on the outside of the neighborhood, for kids safety. It moved, and with it went the street plowing.

I’ve seen underwear and entire filled backpacks at my kids’ school. Like one day a kid decided “I’m done with this backpack and what it represents” and walked away, just like that. How do you not notice your backpack is missing?
