Dear CyberPower. It's 2026. Nobody wants to use USB-B cables for anything, even if you include it in the box. Trust me, it's okay to use USB-C now, it's not scary or anything. I give you my permission and support.
It doesn't matter how stupid or silly the movie. There isn't a role Paul Giamatti's done that he doesn't chew up every second of screen time, and it's beyond impressive watching him work.
I'm out of chicharrones.
It's still going as I type this - I assume it'll go until its context is full, then crash out. At that point, obviously I'm going to ask it why it can't mention the antlers or head BECAUSE I HAVE TO KNOW.
Man, I love breaking stuff. I'm testing out one of the Qwen LLMs and built out a workspace loaded with a few books on hunting and field dressing. Then I asked it what I figured was a simple question its reasoning engine wouldn't have trouble with. This is what it did.
Oh my god inject it straight into my veins.

Moving all my homelab config and documentation to a private GitHub repo makes me feel a whole lot more secure now. Bonus for being able to use issues to track all my maintenance crap I have to keep up with.
The start of the new year is a great time to prune your subscriptions, friend lists, followers, etc. Turn down the noise.
Just over a year of writing.
3 parts.
35 chapters (for now).
72,762 words (for now).
First draft, done.
Amy Lee still has such good pipes.
My goal before the end of the year is to own 4% of the base T206 baseball card set.
This is a stupid goal to have, BTW.
NGL, I'm super glad Adam Gontier is back with Three Days Grace, and I actually think they're better with a two headed monster approach to vocals. Matt Walst is no slouch, and they compliment each other well.
We don't spend nearly enough time talking about how cool Voyager 1 and 2 are.
This thing was able to identify subtext and metaphor, and accurately connect it back to intent.
Qwen is solving the problem of efficiency in LLMs now, but the next step is what's going to be more interesting.
The quality and speed of Qwen3:30B is pretty nuts, even without running it on a GPU. Once we figure out how to get AI past brute force problem solving through LLMs, it's accuracy is going to skyrocket while dropping power consumption exponentially.
This isn't so much a Saturn V project as it is a gantry model that just happens to have the rocket, too.
The definition of self control is knowing you could do this, WANTING to do this, and choosing not to because you need to do your Iron Man Mk.III armor first. forum.finescale.com/t/saturn-v-l...
Holy shit, the Imgur user base has gone into outright war with the new corporate owners who fired all the US-based operations folks and broke the site over the weekend. This is hilarious, and exactly what they deserve.
Man, I'm really glad I picked up my leatherbound V20 Vampire the Masquerade book when I did, because they are IMPOSSIBLE to find now. Unless you don't mind spending $500 on a French version.
I want a president who is capable of using proper grammar like an educated adult when they write.
This is not a political post.
Remember when if your kid downloaded a song, the MPAA thought financially ruining you for life was appropriate and got the DMCA passed specifically to make it easier?
I'm mentioning that for no reason at all.
TIL there's a town in Kansas at the Colorado border called Kanorado.
I used to pay $36.95 shipped for this.
JFC Marketplace, you need to chill the hell out.
Why on earth does LinkedIn still have this on profiles?
I'd have to lose a lot of weight...
A candle on a dark background with the statement: "You know who's not on Epstein's list? Drag queens."
I'm gonna need an adult up in here to tell me that I definitely don't need to 3D print an entire set of Mk.3 Iron Man armor.
