It took Connor’s calm and eloquent answers, that he is known for, at face value.
It was fluff. I knew it was coming. I knew it.
But I think I still hoped, deep down, that there would something. I let myself hope.

I cried. I cried for the full 10mins because listening to that. Listening to him. Listening to Sara having/wanting to ask the questions. I knew.
It was fully PR. No substance. It didn’t name the harms. It didn’t push back.

I sent an email to the team too. How the Jets can host the PWHL takeover in March, when two of their leaders just laughed at or stayed complicit in the face of overt misogyny and sexism towards the women’s team by their leader, is beyond me. They need to address it. This ignores the rest too!
