I had the immense privilege of playing a concert over the weekend to raise donations for food kitchens/community aid for people living in rural Maryland and West Virginia this weekend. One of the artists there was doing live portraits. This was flattering and I hope to play it again.
This. Super this. I think it’s high time we start having a MUCH STRONGER say in where and who our funds go to. How about money for schools, infrastructure, stay at home parents, the elderly, children, you, me, SWs, theys thems and all citizens, non citizens and anyone other than these creeps?!

Just being genuine here. Honestly thank you. It’s really horrible right now (I know you and my my MN friends know that better than me) & I have found it so difficult to be creative. I had to walk out of my last show because some people said the nicest things to us & it frankly broke me.
Also by having them in text form it would make it more accessible to visually impaired folks. And making my stuff available to all is the core of what I’m and the band is about.
2 of 2: I want people to check it out & putting the lyrics in the description is brilliant. We have not done that yet but I can easily do that. I equate it to don’t be “content” be authentic. Yes fans from videos=good but I’m more amazed how many folks wanted some form of that from my tiny ol band.

This. So my band started posting lyric videos on YouTube and I am blown away by the responses. We now have a larger following on YouTube than any of our other platforms and that following has bolstered the numbers on those platforms. You as always are 💯 correct.
