Oh yes!! This is cheese country ! Like everywhere in Switzerland. Every region, even every alpine pasture, has its own cheese. Here, it’s Appenzeller: a hard, bold-flavored. I often stop by the farms with their little shops… I love cheese, though my cholesterol level doesn’t feel the same way! 😅🧀

Yes, the snow has arrived, but there’s at least 30% less than usual. And it’s far too warm—especially at lower altitudes, it’s already melted. There’s nothing left below 1,300–1,500 meters above sea level....
