Sparkster or Rocket Knight from the series of the same name, standing on a grass island, surrounded by water. A wolf driving some kind of spiked machine is approaching on one wheel. In the back are submarines.
Another old concept. Wanted to experiment with a re-imagined Sparkster / RocketKnightAdventures. Always fun to imagine what a potential sequel could look like, mixing elements from all the old games. I've always found the series mechanics really fascinating.

don't really ever post anymore but I've seen @yattytheman.bsky.social do regular #screenshotsaturday posts. And I got inspired to try it too, as I'm working on a game I aim to finish for once. So thought I'd give it a go.
Here's (working title) Pogo Knight, a rage platformer I'm developing in pico-8
The starting area of the game, the prince standing in the corner of a forest.
The prince assaulted by a pair of snakes in a desert while a helpful skull is offering a tip for the journey ahead.
The prince crossing the great bridge, stepping into the dragons realm.
An arena surrounded by lava, with giant knights, snakes, and a cultist ready to oppose the prince.
And to cap off my lil game showcase, in 2024 I finished a small PICO-8 project. Most of it was done during my lunch breaks over the course of a couple years. It was a lot of fun to work with PICO-8, but I had to refactor everything multiple times as I hit the limit of what could fit on there.
