No other Starfighter the Imperial Navy has actually scares me more than this thing. In ANY Star Wars game that involves flight, the TIE Interceptor is an absolute menace. If its speed and quad laser cannons weren't enough, the equally insane fighter pilots should give you even more pause.

Vader's ship was the most elite; with shielding it had and it could travel farther than the usual Tie Fighter/Interceptor.

Faster and better-armed descendents of regular TIE fighters, TIE interceptors defended the second Death Star at the Battle of Endor. The bent-winged fighters swarmed the Rebel fleet in a terrifying display of the Empire's military might.

Ironically, in the X-Wing games, the Y-Wing was easily one of my go to ships. Much as I liked flying an X-Wing, or even the others, the Y-Wing is one of the toughest ships I've ever used. In X-Wing Alliance, they became even more deadly because you could ink your standard lasers and Ion Cannons. /1

Same, you could tell they basically had to steal all of it. Its probably why we love the rebels so much, its a bunch of rag tag thrown together ships that save the day.
