Marco Rubio greets Chuck Schumer in January 2026 at the Capitol Visitor Center
A close-up of his foot shows his shoes are too big
hmm
Close-up photo of the legs and feet of JD Vance and Marco Rubio showing some comically oversized shoes
It gets better. Here's Vance and Rubio in the Oval Office...
I wrote about The Florsheim Affair, and what kind of man wears the ill-fitting dress shoes his weird boss gave him to work. defector.com/report-presi...

I get the feeling weβll be discussing Florsheim shoes today.
Trumpβs shoe gifts have gotten out of control.
The president is handing out oversized clown shoes to his cabinet β and watching to see who refuses to wear them.
It's Solzhenitsyn's Stalin story come to life: the first person to stop applauding ended up in the gulag. The lesson then, as now β never be the first to stop clapping.
Heβs not, at all. Heβs a progressive democrat, unwavering. Heβs exposing the hypocrisy of Christian Republicans and heβs adamant about separation of church and state.
Iβve followed his career for years and I canβt think of any politician thatβs stronger on separation of church and state. He explains it clearly like Pete Buttigieg, too.
As per his words and as per his actions in the Texas legislature, he's indicated that he wants a clear separation:

Talaricoception
This needs to be printed on a banner and draped over the tallest building in Texas
I know. I cannot stop laughing about it!
They really do just keep doing your promotional work for you, don't they?
This is a big mistake by the Republicans and a huge gift for Talaricoβs campaign.
Heβs all about separation of church and state and freedom of and from religion. Iβve followed his career for years and he has never wavered.

Thereβs never enough money for schools or healthcare or veterans.
But thereβs always enough money to bomb people on the other side of the world.
We can support the democracy movement in Iran without bombing innocent schoolchildren and sending our American troops off to die.
No more forever wars.
You really have not much to fear from someone like Kennedy. He likes to hold up his credentials as if to prove himself smart, when heβs really just a cowardly, ignorant man who got lucky.
You handled all of this perfectly. Amazing job correcting their false statements and providing appropriate context in your answers.
We need more people in the world willing to stand up for the truth
Hereβs the DHS ethnic cleansing post. And they actually want to go further.

The Dems' video telling service members to ignore illegal orders didn't go far enough. They should've also urged them to refuse unethical orders, whether illegal or not. There are many things deemed "legal" that are still obviously unethical, and everyone should hold themselves to this higher law
Here's my Blooski statement that Sen. Kennedy calls hyperbolic. I will defend natural law until the day I die, Senator. People's rights come from their humanity, not their government. If ordered to act unethically, you should always refuse. Do Republicans now disagree?
