4. Use the glue runner again to attach a piece of white ribbon to cover the seam.
Hope this helps!
1. Use enough aida to fold in in the back and iron the folds.
2. Glue the sides together with a glue runner.
3. Backstitch along the top and bottom to create a hem. On the bottom, leave enough fabric to remove the horizontal thread with a needle to create a fringe...
Awesome! Just a heads up that this designer has had the design stolen and sold on Etsy and Amazon by other folks—your Etsy listing might be the original artist but you may want to check. I got them here: lavky.com/art-and-coll...
For the back...
Thank you!
Four cross stitch bookmarks showing scenes from Lord of the Rings: Gandalf standing beside a tree looking at the Shire; The Doors of Durin; Sauron's Tower and Mount Doom looming over three figures; A hobbit home beneath a large tree.
I also found myself looking for a mindless hobby a couple of years ago and took up cross stitch. All of my other hobbies are mentally or physically active but this lets me zone out or watch a show at the same time. Not for everyone but I love it.
Starting hobbies is my hobby. What kind of activity are you looking for?

Congrats, Emma!
I've always loved Barn Quilts and thought there was game design potential there—this looks like a really clever game! I'd love to play it at Unpub if I get the chance.
All of these sound like one-of-a-kind games! You know I'm down for a town-building game.
Looking forward to seeing what you've been working on!
Congratulations! I hope you both can find joy in this moment in spite of this evil system.
Illustration of four witches in black pointed hats in a grassy field, raising their wands toward each other and the wands are shooting out colorful sparkles and streamers. Four cats dance at their feet. In the background is a castle, party tent, and balloons.
It's my birthday today! Woohoo! I'm 42 (but mentally still in 2006, hah!)
I'd be so grateful if you shared my art today!

Three men standing beside each other in a board game cafe. One is pointing, another is thinking, and the third is looking through a plastic "spyglass" and wearing an eye patch.
A playtest of "I Spirate" the other night. Not sure there's enough there to pursue it, but it was a fun, goofy activity.
I love the idea of a Cricut but my Maker 3 and I are doing combat to the death while I try to get it working. First time I powered it up it made an otherworldly screech and damaged itself due to a manufacturing defect 😑 I'm determined to get it working someday but it has not been smooth sailing.
@fanfactories.bsky.social and Shawn from @flatoutgames.bsky.social will be joining me tomorrow to teach and play the newest games on KS, Honeypot and Forage! Come root for your fav!

...and the crew (and saboteur) gives clues using only cardinal directions.
If the captain says the name of the object the treasure is hidden behind, they win with the crew. But if they say the cursed object, the saboteur wins.
This is going to work very well or very poorly 🏴☠️
A plastic tube with a small hole in one end, an eye patch, a tiny sparkly gold cube, and a small wooden moose token.
I present: "I Spirate."
All the components are pictured here. You just need an area with lots of hiding spots for small objects.
The "crew" hides the treasure behind an object, then a saboteur secretly hides the curse token. A "captain" player uses spyglass to describe what they see...

It's a riot. One of the few games I had success teaching to summer school kids—I had groups of ~12 kids for only 30 minutes at a time, and this game had them locked in.
I've never played Bunny Kingdom but have heard great things, so that would be my pick. Also, what a great way to present games for game day! Gonna borrow this.

Cat-Rock-Paper-Scissors-Fish
Tree Fruits?
Thanks for these answers, Luis! The playtest data section is definitely intriguing. My schedule is fairly busy right now as I'm a developer on two games (and project lead on one of them), but I will probably take you up on this someday.
Horsies?
After you joined my Discord I was taking a look at Boardssey! Looks pretty slick. Right now I track everything in Google Sheets and wouldn't mind getting away from it.
Can I import card data csv files? And is there a way for me to locally back up things stored on Boardssey?
Disclosure: I’ve not played this game nor even watched the video.
I am backing it to reward a theme and vision so endearing I want it to succeed.
