Thatβs good that itβs escaped any damage, hopefully that part of 009 is saved and gets a new use! unfortunately 002 that was at Wishaw has been scrapped.
Iβve never been on any of the 483s unfortunately! Had been going to go in 2020 but unfortunately Covid got in the way. Its one half of 009 thatβs at Stoke, the other half has been converted to glamping accommodation somewhere in the south of England
I hope so too!
thanks, yeah just one of those things unfortunately. I'm better than I was but still a bit drained after it but back at work. Will hopefully clear up in a week or so!
Yeah I've been trying to cross off as many stations around the area for the past few months. Unfortunately I had to curtail my travel plans on my week off a couple of weeks ago as I ended up with a viral chest infection that has totally floored me so ended up just staying in my local area
Yeah I didn't have very long either time, first time was to complete the branch as it was my last line in Central Scotland to travel on and the 2nd time was a quick visit as I'd done the Helensburgh line and still had an hour to spare and just did it to boost my mileage for the day!
Iβve only ever been to Balloch twice by train, both of them in the last few months! Both in and out on the same train!
