This week has been incredibly rough (obvi) & I think it just started crashing down on me the reality of things with Kirby. As much as I want to I genuinely don’t think I can put on a happy face & stream.

Thank you. I always like to think, he may have only been in my life a short time, but I’ve been practically all of his. I couldn’t ask for anything more.

I am still working with his vet on a surgery and treatment plan, and am crossing my fingers we can get it all in one go.

Kirby was diagnosed with mast cell cancer yesterday and I am still at a loss for words.
I can just remain hopeful that this was caught early and is low grade.
Kirby is my first dog, my sweet old man, and I plan to give him as much as I can.
