Just a Book of Shadows at the moment, and a fairly scattered one at that. I did just clear out an old binder that I plan to use as a Grimoire though.

This is 1000% me 🤣 Partial notebooks galore plus all the post-it notes, scribbled on receipts and junk mail envelopes, and a mostly incoherent google doc

Libraries are also worth a shot. I know my local library has copies

#witchmadness Favorite book for new witches: Weave the Liminal. It’s not exactly a typical witchy 101, but that’s what I like. It’s a guide to find your own path, not a list of traditions to follow by rote without really understanding the meaning.

I learn so much in those conversations! About them, about different ideas, and about me.

I worked for a chiropractor/acupuncturist for a few years, and it’s definitely one of the places I got extra training in dealing with skeptics.

#witchmadness I ignore antagonistic skepticism, but for those who want to have a conversation, I’ll gladly meet them where they are. I’m skeptical in my own ways, and I often laugh when I catch myself saying things that I would have found utterly absurd not long ago. Skeptical curiosity is healthy.

I can pass as an extrovert if necessary, but it makes me very tired. I’m absolutely a “leave me alone with my cats and my book” introvert.

I don’t particularly like to use tarot for yes/no questions; I feel like the cards give more complex answers/advice rather than a definitive. That doesn’t mean they don’t sometimes have STRONG opinions one way or another though. I’ll typically grab a pendulum for yes/no answers.

Same! I know my big 3, but the full chart makes my head hurt. And I know there’s more about how current conditions react with your birth chart but 😵‍💫
