December 5 years ago I entered into therapy with the stated goal that I would get better even if my then husband never did.
I recently celebrated two years divorced. I am a more connected person, to my own body & emotions, & to my children.

You genuinely could not have even fathomed that things would turn out this way. As you said, you made the best decisions you could with your knowledge at the time. You had so much shock and trauma to contend with. Please be gentle with yourself.
The injustice of our legal system is so infuriating.
I’m only a failure by human standards. if I was a children’s book badger in an apron I’d be like “whoa this house is massive, and I own so many cheeses and jams.”
Things I wish I'd said:
"You flipped the script on me, then expected me to be on the same page as you. That was unreasonable and actually cruel."
