Acaban de lanzar una versión estupenda de Congo Bongo, el clásico de SEGA, para los MSX de primera generación.
Gracias al trabajo de Mastropiero, Congo Bongo llega por fin al #MSX tal y como siempre debió hacerlo: con perspectiva isométrica real, jugabilidad fiel y una presentación cuidada al detalle.

Que lo mismo se os ha pasado esto, que es para jugar desde un navegador web con gráficos de 8 bits y paleta de ZX Spectrum. Una aventura de texto absolutamente genial.
Antes de mapas, tutoriales y puntos de guardado, hubo un señor que decidió correr por una jungla llena de trampas mortales… sin que nadie le explicara nada. Así nació Pitfall!, uno de esos videojuegos que no solo hicieron historia.

"Full Moon", a 256-byte effect for MSX2.
No trigonometry necessary. For this one it was kinda tricky to get the raster timings consistent across the machines and emulators I tried.

Printed in the August 1983 issue of Compute!, a photograph of a blue and white gameplay screen for the VIC-20. Ladders climb up and down, and platforms run across a brick wall; up top is a timer, a score field, and a high score field. At the very bottom of the screen, the titual 'Dragon' looks more like a gecko, while the presumed goal is up a ladder to the right.
"Here's a short but exciting game for the VIC-20..." Programmed by Steven R. McCloskey, Dragon was a minimalist take on Pac-Man, changing it from a game of clearing the board before you're hunted to chasing down food before you starve. (Source.)

・レンジ/近接武器の使用と切り替え～ブリーフィング画面切り替え
・押しっぱなしで連射、この場合プレイヤーの向きは変えない
（弾打ちながら後退の動きにしたい背を向けたくない）
・単に連射挙動の確認だけ。

イースシリーズとの出逢い。真面目に書くと、87年当時ベーマガで山下章先生が絶賛する記事を見て、名前だけは知っていた。
そして発売直後、兄の友人がさっそくX1版を手に入れはまり込んでいる様を兄伝いに聞き、これはすごいゲームなんだなと興味を持つに至る。
その後山下先生の「AVG&RPG III」の攻略記事を見ていよいよ遊んでみたくなり、MSX2用ディスクドライブ購入と同時に、移植されてほどないMSX2版を購入。
てか、もろもろの記事中で言及されるフィーナさんに会いたくなったというのが正しい(おい)
