This investment will ensure that Suttonβs name is known globally for world leading cancer research.
I will continue to support the team at the Cancer Hub and local residents to ensure that the project can be delivered smoothly and will help to update local residents on progress as best as possible.

Above all I am really excited about the opportunities that the Cancer Hub project will bring to Sutton.
The project is expected to bring 3,000 direct new jobs, and support over 13,000 jobs for the broader Sutton area, and will contribute up to Β£1 billion to the local economy.

I was able to share with Socius concerns constituents raise about the project, particularly around the extra provisions that will be needed with highways and public transport.
We discussed how they can work together with TfL, and local elected representatives to make the case for improvements.

I was really pleased to be able to visit the site of the newly approved London Cancer Hub in Belmont today.
It was great to be able to chat to the team from Socius and Aviva and find out about local organisations that they are partnering up with to make it happen.

This is essentially the position that Kemi Badenock and Nigel Farage are pushing for, and would enable if every allowed near power.
The Conservative Party and the ReCons are unable to learn from the past, they are utterly unsuited to the future.

We agree with Daisy Cooper MP: in the face of increasing global threats, we must focus on building ties with the reliable allies on our doorstep, Europe. Rejoining key European security programmes would ensure that the UK is once again involved in shaping Europe's security agenda.

Luke Taylor calls on Govt to EXPAND St Helier's A&E urgently
The situation at St Helier's Emergency Department is unacceptable. Staff and patients deserve so much better.
I told the Govt in no uncertain terms this morning: sort it out now or the situation will become a public health catastrophe.

The despicable Supreme Leader is gone, but what happens next?
What is the plan, and what are the ultimate intentions of the Israeli and US Governments?
How will this make the lives of the Iranian people any better, and the lives of people across the Middle East more secure?

Tonight, we have passed a budget that delivers Sutton's future.
Despite these uncertain economic times, the Sutton Lib Dems are always the ones fighting for the very best for Sutton.

On this issue, as with so many others, Londoners deserve better than lacklustre Labour leadership. In May, thatβs exactly what the Liberal Democrats are offering in councils across the capital.

If the Mayor had the ear of this Labour government as he promised he would, weβd be having conversations about putting TfLβs finances on a more stable footing to help insulate working people across the city from rises like this.

Tube fare prices rise from today - full list of how much you'll pay
Sadiq Khan has promised he 'remains committed to keeping TfL fares as affordable as possible'
Londoners today have woken up once again to a city that is just that little bit more expensive to live in, work in and enjoy.
This rise in tube fares wasnβt inevitable.

Weβve bombed Iran. And dismantled our joint terrorism task force. And sent a third of the FBI to help ICE. And gutted the National Security Council. And a drunk guy is in charge at the pentagon. And our intelligence allies probably wonβt share intel with us. Because people couldnβt vote for a woman.

The UK can't be dragged into another protracted Middle Eastern war by a US President. Keir Starmer needs to rule out the use of UK bases for any future unilateral US strikes.

Iβm so proud to be a member of the Sutton Liberal Democrats, who are delivering real results for local people, and there couldnβt be a better example of that than this vital investment in Suttonβs future.

A huge congratulations to everyone from the Greenshaw Learning Trust who have worked tirelessly for nine years to get to this day. Your efforts mean that so many local children will now have a school on their doorstep that meets their needs and gives them the best possible education.

Trump loves suing people.... so the PM should take a leaf out of his book. Starmer should sue the President for illegal damage to the British economy.
Donβt worry Donald - we will settle for Β£100bn, thatβs how it works right?

This really is an astonishing story, and I hope that any MP found to have been involved is held to account.
Itβs straight from the Kremlinβs playbook ironically, and has no place in our politics.

'The Government promised to fix the NHS - so why hasn't St Helier been repaired?'
Sutton and Cheam MP Luke Taylor criticises Government delays on NHS, repairs to St Helier Hospital, social care reforms and hospice funding.
In my latest column for the Local Guardian, I've outlined just how badly the Government is getting it wrong over St Helier.
Their dithering and delays are letting down patients and the hardworking heroes among the staff and management.
