August/September were such a relentless onslaught of events and deadlines and now that I've made it to October I honestly don't know what to do with myself.....
No way I'm doing 'tobers but I do enjoy the spooky stuff and I'm sad I don't have more to share, as a horror fan.

night terror
a sketch done in col-erase pencil and promarkers. forest-dwelling he/him guydyke, hairy and scarred, standing between two trees bending away on either side of the page. both an airhead and meaty, muscular, top-heavy with strong arms and an ample set. lifting his arms up and behind his head, shirt pulled up over his breasts, lit from some light below. the colourscheme is very warm. behind him, a black sky, and a field of pale lilies.
another sketch in col-erase and promarkers. they're so buttery, blending like watercolour. wife, or something like that (if you're in the woods long enough, words lose some meaning) to her man from the other sketch. stepping out of the waterfall naked, hairy and freckled, lifting her long wet hair with one arm, draping it behind her. body slick with dripping water, the rest is taking up the background as it rushes down to crash as froth.

Haven't shared this here yet. Here's my drawing of the 6th St water tower in Brookings, SD, the town I grew up in. I used to love staring up at it when I'd do my paper route growing up. Now it's caked with 5G transmitters and is a turkey vulture habitat, and a Starbucks just opened across the street

Sometimes I go way outside of my chosen style and subject matter just to see if I can. This one's called Christ in the Wilderness (Logging On)
A family of ink cap mushrooms sits among dry orange leaves. The leaves are stained in swamp green and light pink. The far back is decorated by smaller blue leaves in thin curled branches. The smaller mushrooms are lighter and are displayed at the front. The taller ones are all gathered together at the center, and each of them presents a different ink stain pattern in their caps while wearing a cyan-green spectral crown; the stains are curly, thick and thin, and some resemble facial expressions.
