Im so worried about my birthday turning out like last time where it felt like I was mostly ignored. Im hoping it doesnt turn out that way. The stuff that happened last year made it one of the worst years ive ever been through. Losing my dad, dropping people I needed to. Never wanna feel that again

I know its gonna get annoying with me boosting this so often but Im gonna keep my head up and try my best to get these last 3 slots filled up.

I think the biggest damage to the art community was the obsolescence of gallery sites (y!, deviantart, etc) and the rise of scroll-by social media, like twitter and even tumblr. Art is not ''content'', you shouldnt need to post art every day (or every month!) to be relevant. This mindset sucks.

Do hope me boosting this everyday so far isnt getting annoying

I just cant do stuff on my own. I find it better to enjoy things when I have friends to enjoy with. Ive tried things on my own and while I can still enjoy things, it just doesn't feel as great without friends

Yeah, I have online friends that are in the state im in, just that they arent close to me which makes wanting to go visit or hang really hard. I only really ever get to see them at FWA, or one of the cons out of the state if I so happen to see them there
