Awful news about Glasgow Central, I'm still hoping the station itself escaped serious damage.
But while we're here, can anyone spot the problem with the news photo below, from thetraveler.org/glasgow-cent...?
We've really got to STOP using AI to fake things.
One of the worldβs leading authorities on autism - very important read: www.tes.com/magazine/tea...
I've seen it every so often around the bottom of Newington. I suspect it happens more at night. It's not optimal, but if you were in a wheelchair then the crap quality of pavement surface is likely to be more of an issue, and it even may act as little speedbumps to put off pavement-cyclists
Lmao
Irish Independent: Man stole three coffee machines in a week from Monaghan department store.
How does he sleep at night?
This allowance is more luggage than I ever travel with. I'm not saying I particularly like the restriction, but if you decline to include the train then it makes your guide less useful.
Vy Oslo-Gburg is also bad for luggage, since it's a smallish commuter train can often be standing room only
Oh god Frost has discovered Ayn Rand. A mediocrity explosion.
Don't let rust analyzer discover all your Rust projects - set the list you want to work on in the settings, and just swap them in and out as you need.
Weird. It's a completely unfeasible and pointless railway running in a loop, and yet it isn't a hyperloop
Anyway, here's the game of the story. It isn't good, maybe worse than the story. I actually wanted to control the hundesoldatene from "Trygg og Kattfri Oslo", not the cat, but Claude jumped to the wrong conclusion, and I really couldn't be bothered to correct it conversationswith.uk/katt-spill
Which I did. It knocked out something passable in seconds, with an explanation (in BΓΈkmal) of Glasgow-Edinburgh rivalry.
I'm now picturing a machine with 7-day stubble, drinking Scotch and smoking, staring at its in-tray with the cold dead eyes of somebody who has just written _enough_ for today.
I even have enough tokens left over to ask it to do the same thing about a Glasgow cat who wants to live in Edinburgh, written in the uniquely "Scottish" style of Scots wikipedia
Asked it to translate to Danish for my Danish friend, lose the embarrassing brunost references, and explain the Bergen/Oslo thing, which it did without fucking around in what I can only assume was perfect Danish.
Claude is very to-the-point recently. I asked it for short (500 words or less) fairy tale about a Bergen cat who was in space but really wanted to live in Oslo, and it just gave me a 368 word story.
No asking why I was speaking Norwegian, or telling me how clever I was. I'm not sure I like that
βI didnβt realize how much I missed the simple joy of losing myself in words until these massive tranches of sex crime files were released,β said Indianapolis resident Greta Livingston
Polandβs justice minister has been fined by police for a traffic offence that was caught on camera while he was being interviewed behind the wheel.
The incident came to light just as the minister was launching a crackdown on dangerous drivers.
This would have been more accurate and less disturbing if they'd just left the Scotsman to illustrate the article with a random picture of a steam train in Germany. I mean it's so bad that Trainpal's marketing team would be ashamed of it.
That's how I felt when I first started working as a gym manager. But then I put the subscription prices up and they're not laughing anymore
If you really squint you can see that active travellers are being offered the opportunity to walk around longish diversions and under manky subways to be robbed by people hanging out in an inaccessible dank "green" space in the middle of the roundabout under the underpass. Nothing for buses though
I'm still suspicious of this `less` thing. More should be plenty for anyone.
The banners about New Year updates on their website linked to a Tweet, which itself just linked straight back to the website. Pointless, irritating, and probably drove a bunch of completely fake "engagement" with their X account.
Iβm developing a game where you have to go back to assassinate Adam. Itβs a first person shooter.

Cycling on the stairs is dangerous, and should only be attempted on Christmas Day afternoon when all the adults are too drunk to stop you.
It's always struck me as a weird proposition. Uses a huge amount of space, doesn't really provide any more privacy or comfort, fiddly table so it's difficult to get any work done, and they've got the name completely wrong. Does anybody use them?
FWIW Hetzner enforce an external firewall for new cloud instances. Given that I've been caught out before by docker working around ufw, I find external firewall preferable.
π€¦What's the point?

Under the current system providers aren't really even trying to recruit within the UK. We are importing huge numbers of unqualified people, often with false promises that they will be able to switch career. It may be "cheap", but it just props up bad care companies providing bad care for users.
