I started and finished this painting yesterday. My approach to this painting was playful and loose. Also, the color palette is a bit different than usual. I had lots of fun!

You can take the girl (me) out of the #txlege but you can’t take the #txlege out of the girl.
I fell of a ladder in early December and threw my back out. I was in a lot of pain and really stiff. I am full recovered. I have been seeing a chiropractor regularly and stretching daily. Today was my first day back in the gym. I got to lift weights although not as heavy, but it felt wonderful.
Cheers to 5 years being a full time artist!

I have continued to work on the Portrait of a Woman series. I have created 16 total (4 sold).
I started this portrait series with very little expectation as it is a new skill. While I could still improve a great deal, I am pleased with the results and, mainly, for pushing myself.
Be sure to put your “Patience Panties” on as you head to the grocery. It’s bonkers.
